It said the amnesty cannot be explained on any rational basis outside “complicity with terrorism by the Federal Government and unwittingly promoting crime against humanity”. SMBLF made its position known in a statement jointly signed by Yinka Odumakin – South West; C.R.U Ihekire – South East; Senator Bassey Henshaw – South South and Dr Isuwa Dogo – Middle Belt. “What is the basis of deciding that a Boko Haram member is repentant when the group is still spreading terror on daily basis? Is the government the one raising them to know the ones that are still active and the so – called repe...

President Buhari's media aide, Femi Adesina has stated his principal's comment of being "surprised" over the rising insecurity across the country while receiving some citizens of Niger state on Monday January 27, was misinterpreted.  Femi Adesina in his statement stated that President Buhari is fully aware and in charge of the security situation in the country. According to the Presidential spokesperson, the Nigerian leader only meant he was surprised with the emergence of banditry in the north-west which is a region “almost homogeneous, made up of Hausa-Fulani and largely Muslim”.   The statement read in parts;    “The reportage of the statement above was slanted to mean that President Buhari said he was unaware of the security challenges in some parts of the country. Far from it, except to the mischievous mind. The President is fully aware and fully in charge of all that is going on.  “The statement by the President was clear enough, and these are the salient points...

Samsung Galaxy S20: Blurry leaked photos and all the rumors and specs so far

Image
Hello, big eyes. This could be the Galaxy S20. XDA Developers We're weeks away from Samsung's Unpacked event on Feb. 11 in San Francisco, but the rush of leaked blurry photos and specs is pointing to three versions of a phone called the Galaxy S20 and not the Galaxy S11 as originally suspected. What's in the mix? 5G, tons of cameras, a giant battery and extra fast 120Hz screens, according to the many rumors. Unlike the $2,000 Galaxy Fold or $1,100 Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Samsung's next family of premium devices will be designed to appeal to the mainstream, not just enthusiasts looking for the most cutting-edge or powerful handset. Samsung's Galaxy S20 family of phones is especially noteworthy for its likely role in bringing 5G's faster data speeds to the masses. Samsung got a start with the faster data network in 2019 with four 5G phones -- the S10 5G, Note 10 Plus 5G, Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy Fold (in the UK and South Korea). But it's now in 2020 that 5G netwo...
